Growing up in the USA with parents who played in a bluegrass band together it is fair to say James Cisco has deep roots in country music. His mother used to use a guitar case for his crib while on the road. James is a singer-songwriter who moved to Australia from the USA 20 years ago, best known locally for fronting Cisco Caesar and The Excellent Smithers.

He is a thirty-year veteran of performing in pubs, clubs, and festivals in America and Australia and a lifetime fan of Hank Williams.
