Love Your Face by Fiona
“Look good, feel great,” Fiona Ciavarella smiles. “That’s my motto.”
As ‘Love Your Face by Fiona’, Fiona specialises in cosmetic enhancements, offering treatments that enhance natural beauty and provide subtle rejuvenation.
For over twenty years, Fiona has been involved in the beauty and cosmetic industry. It was while she worked as a receptionist at a cosmetic surgery that she found herself intrigued by the transformative power of cosmetic treatments.
Encouraged by the surgeon she worked for, she went back to school in 2012 to train as a nurse.
“I honed my skills under dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons for many years - but it was always the plan to have a business of my own,” she says.
In 2019, she took the leap and launched Love Your Face by Fiona. As one of the practitioners within the Airs & Graces salon, Fiona delivers a range of treatments that can be discussed in a face to face consultation.
Fiona says that her approach to cosmetic enhancements is conservative and grounded in realistic expectations. She praises herself for being conservative in her approach, “It’s someone’s face, so it’s important that I approve of what I’m doing.”
Fiona says she’s known for her ability to bring subtle yet effective changes to her patients’ appearances, it’s all about looking fresh, that’s all.
“When people call me and say, ‘Fiona, I love what you’ve done. I love how I look and feel,’ that makes it all worth it,” she beams.
Despite the growing competition in the field, Fiona remains focused on her core values.
“I prioritise patient safety and well-being - I really care,” she says. “I interpret what my clients want and take their concerns seriously, because in the end it’s a medical procedure.”
She values the rapport she builds with her patients, and her small business offers a personalised experience in an industry that can often feel impersonal.
“Because I have a one-to-one relationship with my patients, I’m able to build a strong trusting relationship with each person,” she says. “The business is literally my name, and that’s what makes it special. I feel like I have a calling to help people to look their best.”
