North West City News
The first North West City News edition was published in February 2021. The local newspaper was established with the City of Melbourne's locales of North & West Melbourne, Kensington and Parkville Gardens to keep local residents and businesses informed of changes in their suburb, share valuable stories and advocate for the community on important local issues.
North West City News is printed monthly and 14,000 printed copies are distributed throughout the area as well as specific outlets in neighbouring suburbs. North West City News was established by Hyperlocal News, which also operates sister publications in Docklands, Southbank, the CBD and the inner-city suburbs of (East Melbourne, Carlton and Parkville), and is owned and published by Sean Car.
It is our job to inform the community of events, news and changes that are evolving around the area. We are a trusted source of information for residents, workers and visitors within the inner-city catchment of North & West Melbourne, Kensington and Parkville Gardens. We are the voice of the north-west city community.
