 …Wandering; be it urban wandering (the flâneuse/flâneur), wandering of the mind (reverie, wanderlust), or wandering in the natural environment suggests the desire for movement or change for its own sake and without a particular focus. In wandering we escape the regularities of our lives and pursue another state of mind in anonymity; an illusion of freedom, a heightened feeling of possibility, a spark of connection between ourselves and the world we move through - whether real, imagined or interdimensional…. (from proposal sent to artists)
