The Hornets are steeped in the blues, they rise out of the Yarra Valley delta meeting at the mythical crossroads where Chicago grit has blown in.

This is an earthy blues band with a pedigree of outstanding musicians…. the Age’s Warwick McFadyen about their latest album "Lowdown in Lockdown" The Hornets are Drunken Poet favourites and have been a mainstay of Melbourne and Australia’s blues and roots scene for two and a half decades.

This show featuring it’s three mainstays, singer/songwriter and guitarist Craig Horne, ARIA Hall of Famer guitarist Jeff Burstin (Jo Jo Zep, Black Sorrows) and ARIA Award winning keyboardist Bruce Haymes (Archie Roach, Paul Kelly) will be a celebration of their Silver anniversary and the release of their ninth album Lowdown in Lockdown.
